Takahiro Yakoh was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1965. He received the B.S. degree in instrumentation and measurement engineering from the Faculty of Science and Technology at Keio University in 1989 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the Graduate School of Science and Technology at Keio University in 1991 and 1995, respectively. 1998, he joined the Faculty of Science and Technology at Keio University as an Instructor, where he had been an Associate Professor since 2004. In 2023, he joined the Graduate School of System Design and Management, Keio University, as a Professor. His research interests include coding theory, computer network, human-computer interaction, computer vision, signal processing, machine learning, and digital transformation.
